MOUNT KOSCIOSKO EXPEDITION

BMARC will be conducting an expedition to the summit of Mount Kosciosko, Australia's highest peak.

36 27'S 148 16'E, 2228 meters ASL

We expect to make many contacts on all bands from the summit, into VK1, VK2, VK3 and probably further afield, into VK5 and VK7.

Full details have yet to be laid out, however a small group of members headed up to the mountain over the Australia Day long weekend (24/25/26 Jan) to check out what is available and the logistics of the big trip.
